Hi all,
In our meeting room, we have bought MX800 and IP phone 8831. They would be managed by BE6000 which is in our data center.
Now the question is when we have 2 parts Video conference, some third parts want to join the meeting by telephoney system(8831). Is it possible? If yes, how could we do?
Kind regards,
Long

There are no specific licenses for conference on cucm, if there are conferencing resources available and configured on cucm then additional parties can be added without any requirement for new licenses based on what the max capacity of configured conference is.

Hi Long,
If 8831 is one of the parties in the original call then it will be an audio only call as this phone is not video capable. If it then tries to conference in a third party which is video capable then it will be a normal audio conference only. However, if a video conference is already set up it still allows audio only phones to be added to the conference.

Hi, Manish,
Thanks a lot for your answer. If a third party can join by phone, is that means we need to buy extra license?
Kind regards,
Long
