How to monitor 3rd party SIP phone onhook/offhook status

Could anyone please help with some direction on where I can find more details about monitoring/transmitting onhook/offhook status for non-Cisco phones registered to a CUCM cluster. I have CUCM v.11.5 and would like to perform an integration where an external (non-CUCM) server receives phone offhook status messages and uses this information as a trigger for a different system.

From much older posts, it appears this may be possible through TAPI/JTAPI, but I'm not sure if anyone has worked on something similar with more recent Cisco Collaboration versions /tools.

 

Any help appreciated

I can suggest a direction but not solutuin..

In cucm BLF feature is there for cisco phones... Check might be this help for your third party phones also...

But advanced feature will not work so again you have to check cisco doc for this research ...

 

Yes Jtapi integration works for your third party phone , we use this fir monitoring vip phones
