I've got a 2620 with a VIC-2BRI-S/T-TE installed. However, when calls are placed/received over the PSTN via 64k isdn BRI lines , both parties experience poor quality audio(hissing/muffled). Internally all ok. No VAD.
Any feedback appreciated.

Hi,
check your compand-type (a- or u- laW) on the voice-ports.

What type of QoS are you using? How many simultaneous calls are you trying to place at a time? Are you sure that VAD is disabled?
You might want to take a look at the following documents in regards to configuring Voice and ISDN.
