Greetings,
The todays problem:
In my IVR I want to redirect a call to an extension!
No problem so far!
Inside our Intranet when the call is redirected I can hear the calling sound in my phone, but when I call from an external number, I know that the call is "calling" but I can't hear the calling sound!!!!
Some clues????
Thanks for your attention!
Rui André.

Asked and answered in the General forum. You are using an H.323 gateway. CallManager has now been enhanced to tell the gateway to play a ringback tone on the transfer, but the IOS H.323 software will need to be enhanced to allow this once a call was already in a connected state.
This does not happen with Skinny-based (and I believe MGCP-based) gateways.

My question is very direct:
In wich part of the router (VG200) configuration, may I find how to configure the ringback tones when a transfer ocurs?
Thanks,
Rui André.

my 3640 router has been configured as mgcp gateway, and i am encounter the same problem: when user calling from pstn to a cti route point, cti route point will redirect the call to an extension. there is no ringback tone.
Is there any fix for that?

Generally, it´s a problem IOS. Use command " progress_ind alert enable 8 "in the dial-peer pots. This for version 12.2. OK!!
Thanks
