How do I specify which phones register with SRST during failover? I am using CM 3.1 and only want the key location phones to work in a failover scenario. Also, how does SRST register phones? Is it first come first server with its registration?

SRST uses first come first serve.
To limit srst, only apply the srst phone load, to phone that require srst
P003E302 - srst
P003D310 - 3.0(10)

How do you differentiate between the SRST load and the regular phone load?

Unfortunately, CM3.1 has the latest phone load to enable SRST and would be a problem setting this up to revert back to an old load on 300+ phones.

Hi,
in SRST, you enter SRST router IP Address in "Default Ruoter1" field in IP Phone "settings --> Network Configuration". You can enter the SRST router address in this field in IP Phones which you want to register to the SRST router during failover.
For the other IP Phones, you should use another default route address.
