Load balancing phones

Has anybody found an effective and robust way of load balancing phone registratation to different CM ( primary / secondary ) in any of the CCM design architectures?

Moreover, has the mountain of serving different CMLists via TFTP in the same cluster been scaled by anyone?

However, is this an issue being addressed by Cisco in 3.3 or further down the line?

Your views will be very much appreciated.

Hi George,

I am doing it like this: Assume this cenario: CCM-A(Publisher) and CCM-B(Subscriber).

I activate both DHCP Servers and give then the same address scope. While CCM-A gives CCM-A tftp address, dhcp server on CCM-B gives CCM-B tftp server address.

In dhcp you have an options to see if the ip address that you are trying to give is already giben or not.

Using this i was able to "load-balance" on both ccms.
