Jeff,
is there anything specific that has to be done if I want to upgrade out Unity server to SQL Service Pack2 with the new MS hotfix.
I can't find anything on CCO that talks about the procedure for upgrading SQL SPs on Unity. Is it not a big deal.
We finally got the server tuned to act the way we want to and i don't want to mess it up by upgrading to SP3 before it gets fully tested.
Thanks!

There's nothing specific to Unity about applying the SP2 onto SQL on our server - I haven't heard of anyone having any problems in this regard in the past so I think you're reasonbly safe.

Just FYI. We have a customer who experienced SQL slammer worm yesterday, it generated a tons of UDP 1434 packet which overwhealmed the WAN and LAN bandwidth. Finally we upgrade SQL to SP3 and solved the issue.

Have a look at the advisory on Cisco web. The advisory about Microsoft SQL Server 2000 is available at http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/cisco-sa-20030126-ms02-061.shtml.
