MWI from UC to CCM to Nortel

Can we successfully pass MWI from Unity Connection through CCM to Nortel PBX(Option 81C) via QSIG.

Hi Jay,

Here is a list of supported integrations for Unity Connection. From what I have read the PIMG is the recommended setup for what you need but it might work with the Cisco EGW 2200 and QSIG;

Supported Combinations

Cisco Unity Connection supports the following combinations of phone systems integrated at the same time.

Hi Rob,

Thanks. But these are information when you integrate UC directly with a Third party PBX.

Here we have UC integated with CCM and CCM is in turn talking to Nortel through QSIG and Nortel phones are using UC as their VM. NO SMDI simple QSIG, I know Cisco supports MWI over QSIG but dont knwo whether Nortel will be able to understand MWI messages over QSIG.

if you have unity connected to Nortel via an SMDI link, then you can pass MWI to nortel.
