I have a 3640 router running c3640-ds-mz.122-27.bin
and DSP ware version 3.4.56. I have a NM-HDV card with a VWIC-2MFT-T1 card. I was able to bring the controller t1 3/0 up and have a voip trunk running to another router. When I try to configure the second controller t1 3/1. I get no dsp resources available. Can anyone know why?

What DSPs have you installed on your NM-HDV?
Possibility is that you only have DSPs enough for a single T1...

How many PVDM you have installed in the router?
Try the following command
test dsprm 1
1
It will display how many channels you have available for T1/E1,CFB and XCODE.and the ones that are already allocated.
Normally in the NMHDV, if you have already configured a T1, this means that it is using DSP resources.
1 DSP for your model, = 4 channels, so you are using 2 PVDM = 6 DSPs = 24 channels for your T1.
Verify it with the channel bank led.
