Folks,
Have a 4.0(2a) CCM cluster. With 1 Publisher and 2 Subscriber. Lately, I have been getting this error.
Error: MtpNoMoreResourcesAvailable - No more MTP resources available.
App ID: Cisco CallManager
Cluster ID: StandAloneCluster
Node ID: x.x.x.x
Explanation: MTP resource is not available.
Recommended Action: Install additional MTP or transcoder resources..
I have all three callmanagers configured for software MTP resources in a group, all phones have the media resource list that contains this group. Only 150 phones on the cluster.
Any ideas what is causing these errors would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,

Set the MRGL on the Device Pools. There is some resource that needs MTP/Transcoder and it can't use what you have because they are tied up in your MRGL. Apply your MRGL to all of your Device Pools, including Default in case something is using it.

You might try pulling up Windows performance monitor and looking at real time stats for the MTPs as well.

First : Pulling up Windows performance monitor, add MTP's Resources (Out of Resource,Avail,Active)
Second : You will see when calls coming in from an h.323 gateway,If MTP resource available number
do not change from 48 then go to:
Call Manager Administration Page>Service>Media Resource>Media Termination Point. Add ur Call Manager Publisher and Subscribers , update & reset it.
Then check ur MTP Resources. After that u will not find any errors in Event Viewer.
Hopefully,Works fine...
