Hello,
I wanted integrated a MS Netmeeting as H323client on a Callmanager system. I have install a new Phone, selected h323 client.
As Device Name: my IP address
selected calling space and so on.
I give a Line-number
mapped this device by a User
Now I configuring the netmeeting:
I seleted the Gateway a made the IP form callmanager.
Now I wanted logon an get the Error massage:
The directory server could be not found
You may not connected to the network.....
Where is the Failure, please help

what codecs do you have defined in NetMeeting and in the CM region ?

Hello,
The codec on Cisco Callmanager is standard, I have not changed it. By the Netmeeting Client have
CCIT u-law 8.000kHz 8BIT Mono

ok, i assume by "standard" you mean G.711 to all regions, right ?
have you actually tried to place a local call yet? i don't even log onto a directory server, and those configurations are diff. from the phone. also, don't map the device to any users. start over, do the same steps except for the device association, and don't worry about the directory messages. just try to place a local call to another IP phone.
