Problems with the Cisco IP Phone 7940

Hello!!

I have a Cisco IP Phone 7940, but it doesn't work. I reseted the phone, but when I pressed the button settings I cannot access to configuring settings. What can I do with this problem?.

 

Hope some one could help me.

If the phone is registered to CUCM/CME make sure you allow the access to the settings button on the device.

Is it registered on CUCM?
In this case did you change anything under Device>Phone>Product Specific Configuration?

Hi there

 

If the phone in registered in CUCM, check the Setting Access Setting under Product Specific Configuration Layout

or do a factory reset
