Resetting a Ip Phone

How do you reset a phone physically running on cm4.0. If you try to punch in asterisk it comes up with abbreviated dialing.

I think on newer firmware versions you have to press 'settings' or another similar button then press the **#** combo...

Hi,

To reset the IP phone, no need to go to any screen. You need to just type **#** from the main LCD screen.

Just for your information, prior to phone load 7.1(2) you can enter **#** without having to press the settings softkey first.

If you have upgrade to 7.1(2) then yes, you need press any other softkey prior to entering **#**.
