Is it possible to route a pattern (say, 7.@) to a CTI Route Point (at say port 5000), yet maintain the original dialed number at the route point (ie the route point receives the original dialed number)?
It's easy to configure a translation pattern that translates 7.@ to 5000, but the dialed number becomes 5000, and the original dialed number is lost. Unfortunately it is not treated as a forward/transfer, but rather the transformation occurs before any call routing takes place (which makes sense).
Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

Hi,
In order for the application to receive both the called number and the original called number (to look up in a database for instance), you need the call to be routed to a device that has CFA set to the route point. For example, if you wanted to send all long distance call attempts that use 7 as the access code to a route point with DN 5000, then you can make another device (phone, CTI port, CTI Route Point, doesn't matter -- it's not going to register) and give that device a DN of 71XXXXXXXXXX and then set the Call Forward All to 5000.

When you say it's not going to register, does that mean that scalability is not a problem in potentially routing a large volume of calls through that route point? Would you anticipate any scalability issues that should be considered in this scenario?
