Hi Ken,
Please under CCMAdmin page --- System ---- Enterprise parameters. Make sure that the
"URL Directories" and "URL services" has IP instead of name of the server.

If servers are not in Domain and only in workgroup could you follow the below steps to
resolve your problem.
On the Publisher. Open Command Prompt (DOS). And go to the following directory.
c:\program files\cisco\bin>
Then type adminutility and press enter.
Once the page comes up enter the CCMAdmin password and login. Once your in the
Adminutility application. Please "check" select the world icon, this will also check the
callmanager services in your cluster eg. SQLSvc, CCMServiceRW, etc..
When that is done go to Options --- Set New password. Basically just enter and re-enter
the password that you have been using already to login into the server and CCMadmin page, adminutility.exe tool.

Hi Ken,
In CallManager Administration, go to System/Enterprise Parameters.
What has been configured under "URL Services"?
What ip phone model is being used?
What is it's current load?
In the 'Internet Services Manager' what account is being used for anonymous access of CCMCIP? (please provide a screenshot showing both the Authentication Methods and Anonymous User Account)
Could you take a screenshot of the Virtual Directory tab showing the Internet Services Manager in the background
Do an 'iisreset' do you seen any change now?
Let me know

I believe it was IUSR_Guest before, then I changed to CCMUser to fix it... but still doesnt work.

The name resolution option uncovered the cause of the following error:
Source: DCOM
User: servernamePUB\SQLSvc
DCOM was unable to communicate with servernameSUB using any of the configured protocols.
Placed both servers in HOSTS file as well as LMHOSTS.

Is this a VMWare install of Callmanager?
09-20-2006 10:05 AM
Yes, VMWare installed for Unity...
For testing only... we have Callmanager 4.13 installed first, then install VMWare Server, Unity install at VMWare Server.
Is there anything to do with that??

I had this exact problem. My solution was to change the IUSER_Guest password and also go into CCMCIP virtual IIS directory and under the Virtual Directory tab set the Application Settings to the name of the IIS Virtual Directory and set the Application Protection to 'High'. I did this for each Virtual Directory just to be safe.
