Hi Experts,
We have a Smart Account and our production CUCM is already tied to this Smart Account.
We would like to create a UAT CUCM environment. Can we use the same Smart Account to register our UAT CUCM?
Can also provide a Cisco document that we can do this to show this to my boss. Thank you.
Regards,
Flo

You can do that. If you need to separate from the production I would suggest to make a new Virtual Account and connect the UAT CUCM with this new VA.
If licenses required, you can transfer between the VA.

You can put any type of system into a virtual account as a product instance. You can see the VA as a holding place for license and product instances that consumes these license. Not much in the form of documentation to show anyone for this, it is just basic how does Smart Account and Virtual Account(s) work and what are they used for.

To add another cluster you create a second product instance token in the Smart Account. See this document under Configuration ..

There is no need to create a second token for this. As long as the token is valid and is not set with any limits on number of uses, or number of uses are still not maxed out, it can be used multiple times. Also worth mentioning is that tokens are device agnostic, meaning that it can be used for a mix of systems, for example routers, CM, CUC, CCX and so on.
