I am trying to use Softphone 1.31 over VPN. We are running the latest version of Symantec Raptor.
I can register with the Call Manager, but I cannot receive or even originate calls. I get a busy signal on origination, and a ring to busy when I try to call the Softphone.

Perhaps a trace from CCM will help located what is happening. Moreover, capture packets at both ends of the vpn tunnel and verify whether rtp and rtcp streams are getting through and well as not being altered in any way.
Make sure shinny, rtp and rtcp ports are opened on the f/w however may want to check the basics on CM for call routing.
Lastly, bypass the tunnel and see if works.

Thanks, George. I have confirmed that it works on the LAN. I will check the ports on the firewall, since they may indeed be the problem. Wouldn't the phone fail to register, though, if skinny were being blocked?
