speed dial options

is there any other option available for speed dial on callmanager. beside these two:

1.speed dial button on the phone

2.name search in directory

Use the Abbreviated Dial feature. The user configueres up to 99 Speed Dials on their CCMUser page.

Then while the phone is ON HOOK they enter the speed dial number 1-99 and press the AbbrDial softkey.

I am going batty here, i don't get an abbr dial key, nor can i find a place to add it under the softkey template configuration.

I suppose i should clarify, i cannot get it to appear on IP Communicator. Do they not support AbbrDial?

Take a look at the following link. Abbreviated dialing is not supported in 1.1x.
