Speed Dial with pauses

I want to create a speed dial with pauses, this will enable ivr menu options to be pre-selected, however I cannot find anything saying what character to use in a dial pattern to accomplish this, I have tried a space, lower case P (which works on my mobile) and a comma. Anybody know what to use?

As far as I know, and I have worked w/Cisco and TAC on trying to get similar things with speed dial like this in past, is that Call Manager currently doesn't have a way to send digits after a call is connected automatically.

There may be some third party XML app or desktop application available but I don't know of any.
