My night-service on my Cisco 2821 (running CME 7.1 IOS 12.4(22)YB1) is acting up! It's a bit weird, here's my setup and the problem I'm having.
The config is set so that at 5pm the system goes into active night-service and at 9am night-service is disabled. There are two ephone-DNs that have CFNS config. When night-service is disabled, their respective CFA settings should have them go to the AA for one and a parallel voice hunt-group form the other. When night-service is active, they should both go to their voice mailboxes on the CUE. These ephone-dn's are not used as a button on any IP phone. Here's the config:
ephone-dn 191
ring external primary
number 01234511441
label Main Line
description Main Line
name Main Line
call-forward all 6001
call-forward night-service 6000
hold-alert 15 originator
night-service bell
!
!
ephone-dn 192
ring external primary
number 01234511900
label Support Desk
description Support Desk
name Support Desk
call-forward all 1900
call-forward night-service 6000
hold-alert 15 originator
night-service bell
The problem I have is that, in actual operation, when night service is disabled, ephone-dn 191 does the CFA to 6001, but ephone-dn 192 does the CFNS to 6000. When night-service is enabled, ephone-dn 191 does the CFNS to 6000, but ephone-dn does the CFA to 1900.
When I remove the CFNS config line on ephone-dn 192, it does the CFA to 1900 correctly. IF I enter the CFNS config again, it still doies the CFA to 1900. When I manually activate night-service, it still does the CFA to 1900 and then the CFNS 6000 when night-service is disabled.
Really hope that you can lend a hand with this one. If you need my full config, let me know and I'll email it through.
Thanks,
Stu
