yes... this is the "all in one" box or "everything and the kitchen sink" box. There's a limit on how many users can be handled in this config (200 max depending on the hardware you get). If you need more users than that, you'll need to install an external Exchange server to house your users.
this is targeted at very small companies... usually in the 50 to 100 range.

Just out of interest, that limit for users on a "all in one" box seems rather low to me? Why is it limited to such a small number of users?
If you don't have Exchange 5.5 or 2k on the Unity server you can have thousands of subs can't you? What is the upper tested and approved limits for the supported hware (MCS7835 1Gig Chip & RAM) that Cisco/TAC will support?

Most of your overhead comes from Outlook connections to the mailstores themselves (each connection takes memory and CPU cycles to handle the new message events and the like) and the possibility that Unity has to act as the domain controller as well. When the users are off box Unity is only using Exchange to get at your mailstore and directory, our server is not invovled in processing messages comign into the site or shuttling messages back and forth between home stores etc...
Yes, 200 is deliberately low to account for the worst case scenario. Regardless, if you seriously have a 300 user company that wants to have all their email and voice mail services and storage concentrated on one single server, I'd be shocked.
