Our environment currently contains both Unity 2.4.6 and 3.01 and I found the unresolved Caveat CSCdv00759 which we are experiencing:
I need to know what version this caveat is resolved? Also, what does it mean to end the TRAP session and start a new one before rerecording the message?
While recording a message to another subscriber through ViewMail using TRAP (the phone), ViewMail stops recording while the subscriber is still talking. The subscriber records a second message and completes it successfully; however, the message that is sent is the first message, which was cut off.
No workaround is available for the cut-off message problem.

That particular bug was closed since it was seen at only one site and once they properly configured their tone templates using LearnTones (the were on a PBX) they could no longer reproduce the problem. Are you running behind a PBX or CM? If it's a PBX have you run LearnTones?

We are running Call Manager 3.0.11 with Unity 3.01 and Call Manager 3.07a with Unity 2.4.6.102.
