Update Directory Number with BAT or AXL ?!

Hi !

We have a cluster of 5 CCM 4.2(3)sr1 with 1700 phones.

W have to change All DN because we change the dial plan : from 4 digits to 6 digits.

That means we have to update all DN, Forward on busy internal & external, Forward on no answer internet & external...

I checked if it's possible with BAT to update the lines with a csv file but it isn't.

The only way I found is :

To export all phones

Create a new BAT File

delete all phones

insert the new BAT File.

But it's really not convenient : the export gave too much infos and I am afraid to loose something like the speeddials, configured services ...

So the best ideal is only to upgade the DN. I read somes documentations this morning about AXL.

Do you think it can be done with AXL ? to only update the DN and forward ?

I think you can do it with AXL (haven't tested it)

There is the updateLine element where you can specify
