Upgrade ESXi on BE6/7K

What's the best way to upgrade the ESXi system running on a BE6/7K?  Am I just shutting down the VMs, doing a standard upgrade from the cli of the ESXi install to 6.7 (currently n 6.5) or is there a Cisco specific image I need to upgrade to?  I've already run the HUU to get the firmware update on the BE but not haven't upgraded the VMware install yet.

if you have an account in Vmware  u can download Cisco custom images from the portal. upgrade will be direct upgrade from 6.5 to 6.7.
