We are trying to connect a Voice Gateway on 2811 with IOS c2800nm-entservicesk9-mz.123-11.T3.bin, through FWSM with ver. 2.3.3
To Cisco Call Manager ver. 4.1.3
Trace of the traffic shows, that the router, sends the h.225 call setup in protocol q.931, which the firewall does not allow in it's H.323 Inspection Engine.
The Firewall issus message no.:
405104
Error Message %PIX-4-405104: H225 message received from outside_address/outside_port
to inside_address/inside_port before SETUP
Is there any way to force the router to send the initial setup request in the correct protocol h.225, or are we forced to find another IOS which handles this the right way.
And in case of IOS change, is there anyone that can recomment an IOS that works in a simmular environment.

The problem could be that the Setup message is being dropped due to segmented packets. If this is the case then you can try the command "ip tcp path-mtu-discovery" to the 2811 to allow for larger packet size.

Hello Kevin
Thanks for the input, but I Seriously doubt, that, that, could be the problem.
We are able to send packets with 1500 bytes size, throug our network.
By the way, the setup works, when the gateway resides on a 1760 router. !!!
