Hi Expert,
I have a customer purchase 360 IP Phone with Call Manager, they intended to invest a voice gateway which I have no ideal what to quote.
So I have read throught document and just to double confirm, I suggest they purchase Cisco 2851 with IP Voice IOS, 2 ports E1-60 channel network module (NM-HDV-2E1-60), should this enough for the setup of 360 IP Phone?
Thank you in advance for help.

This gateway should work fine assuming that 2 E1s will handle their voice traffic. You also need to consider DSP resources. The 2 E1 ports consume DSP resources. Do you need additional DSPs for conferencing/transcoding?
Hope this helps.

The new Cisco ISR routers such as 2851 have 4 HWIC ports. If all of them are not utilized for other modules (i.e. WAN cards) you can simply add a dual E1 card VWIC-2MFT-1T1/E1. You can save some money by purchasing the K9-voice router bundle which comes with 48 channel PVDM (DSPs) and as stated earlier you might want to add more if conferencing, transcoding is needed. Use the DSP calculator to come up with the number. Another option is the SRST bundle which will include the PVDMs and SRST license (96 for 2851).
