We have been using CUPC & Jabber for some time, it has come along way within that time however im not sure why it has taken Cisco so long to sort out a solution for Virtual environments, not everyone can justify buying particular thin client models especially if you are heavily invested elsewhere.
So, when will VXME be released for other Wyse models and all 3rd party thin client models? Its a bit of a dirty tactic forcing everyone to buy Cisco branded Wyse boxes, let alone older models of Wyse ie z50d for this VXME solution. No doubt alot (even we might consider it) moving to Lync as your roadmap is outdated.
Anyway - we are still using CUVA (YES CUVA FOR VIDEO) & Citrix for our remote locations, seeming Citrix receiver doesnt work to well with CUVA (click and window disappears from Virtual desktop) we have to wait, been waiting 2 years now.
Seriously guys, keep things simple and look after the customer.
p.s going through the account manager route for an answer is like taking a road to nowhere.
