FEX design question

Hello All,

I was able to get the FEXes in diagram "EvPC_standard_config.jpeg" working.

o

But I got the following doubt, is it possible to config the FEXes as if they were in only one EvPC? I mean, is it possible to get the "EvPC_Po500.jpeg" diagram working? Why? Why not?

Thanks in advance,

Fernando

The only place I can find your second option is here, see Figure 9.

I think however that there might be an error in the diagram concerning vPC and the FEXs. I sent some feedback querying the diagram but have not received a response yet.

Have you seen this guide?: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/mkt_ops_guides/513_n1_1/n5k_enhanced_vpc.html#wp1161967

There is no mention of the second option in this guide.

Thanks Sean for your reply!

Yes, I've read a lot of documents and guides and I was not able to find the way to do it. I just wanted to be sure that I was not missing anything.

Thanks again!

Hi Sean,

thanks! As you said, figure 9 is what I want to accomplish, but I believe that you are correct when you say that it might be an error there.

I will wait a couple of days more, if nothing else appears, I will mark the question as answered.

Thanks again for your assistance!
