Hello guys,
I am experiencing very strange problem. I have a few 1000Base-T SFPs plugged into M2 card. However, for some reason I am getting this:
# show int ethernet 6/19 - 22 brief
Eth6/19 -- eth routed down Transceiver speed does no 10G(D) --
Eth6/20 3967 eth trunk down Transceiver speed does no 10G(D) --
Eth6/21 3967 eth trunk down Transceiver speed does no 10G(D) --
Eth6/22 3967 eth trunk down Transceiver speed does no 10G(D) --
# show int ethernet 6/19 - 22 cap | egrep "(Ethernet|Model|Type|Speed|Duplex)"

ERROR: Ethernet6/19-22: Configuration does not match the port capability.
Here is some additional information that might help.
# show module

2 0 Supervisor module-2 N7K-SUP2 ha-standby

6 24 10 Gbps Ethernet Module N7K-M224XP-23L ok

1 6.1(2) 1.1
2 6.1(2) 1.1
5 6.1(2) 1.0
6 6.1(2) 1.2
Could that be a problem with an unsupported SFP for this module? I checked this one, but couldn't find any 1Gbps SFPs as supported..
Any thoughts are more than welcome!
Sincerely,
D.

Hi Danail,
The N7KM224XP-XL only support 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds and so unfortunately the 1000BASE-T transceivers you have will not work in this module.
