Good evening,
after upgrading some 7K from 6.1 to 6.2.2 we encounter the following issue
interface go in xcvrInval state and nothing we do can change it unless changing to a fet or 1G spf.
The same optic in a 6.1 chassi is seen correctly.
xcvrInval is seen on any interface config, from fabricpath to a routed interface.
any advice would be welcome.

Hi,
I would appreciate if you could get some information in regards of this situation.
sh int e x/x transceiver details
Sh run int ex/x
sh version
What type of transceiver is been use in there?
Could you test those trasnceivers on any other port?
Regards,
Robert Rodriguez

Hi Gilles,
you need to make sure you have the following command :
"service unsupported-transceiver", I guess you are using 3-party transceivers too.
