Nexus 7010s and vPC to a gateway

Hello everyone--In my data center, i've got two 7010s.  I'm in the process of setting up a router to act as a voice gateway, and I'd like to get it connected to both units via etherchannel to prevent a switch failure from taking it down.  Has anyone done something similar?  The gateway is strictly for voice, no routing other than a static to the core.  I did see an old article talking about CatOS and etherchannel to a gateway, but wasn't sure if anything changed with NX-OS.

Hi Scott,

As long as you are not running an routing protocols over the peer-link on a subnet that you are connecting to form an adjancey with the router you are fine. Again as long as its L2 you are fine.

The following link should help you:
