Problem with Fabric Module 2 in Nexus 7010

Hi, I’ve got this problem with my N7K and 2 of the fabric module’s.  The front LED of the N7K is yellow/orange instead of green (it’s supposed to be green I believe).  Not sure what this relates to, hw issue, config issue or?

As you can see below, 2 of the fabric module are powered down.  Restarting the fab’s og restarting the N7K does not power up the fab module’s.

VDC-ADMIN# sh module

Hello,

This command might help you to know what happened.

#show environment power

Regards,

Richard

Well, not much info from that command.

Are you sure the switch hasn't been configured this way?

You can manually power down the fabics in order to minimise overall power by using the command poweroff xbar. See below:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/hw/nexus7000/installation/guide/n7k_hig_book/n7k_managing_sys_hw.html#wp1052265

The N7K is brand new, and the Fab mod.2 in slot 4 and 5 has been like this from the first start-up.  Below is output sh module fabric 4, and  attached logfile from the command no poweroff xbar 4

VDC-ADMIN# sh module fabric 4

Se attachment for output of no poweroff xbar 4.

Problem solved. Had to replace the N7K chassis.
