hi, I was wondering if it possible to add an 1enet card to the cisco 2611 to make an DMZ. We're currently running DSL and the 0/0 is use for the DSL and 0/1 is for the LAN. What do I have to do? Thanks

Buy one, install it and configure...

Are you referring to the WIC-1-Enet?. If so, this card is only for the 1700 series routers and will not work on any of the 2600 series. For additional ethernet interfaces on 2600 try NM-1E, NM-2E2W, NM-2FE2W, or NM-4E.

None of the NM-1fe,NM-2FE,NM-1E2W, or NM-1E1R2W or cards are supported in the 2600 series routers. Those are made for use in the 3600 series. Please see the hw/sw compatibility matrix here:

Choose "find software that supports my hardware" and enter the FRU number. Thankss

you will have to buy a nm-1e or nm-4e as they are supported in 2600 series routers.
