Selecting a router

I want a router with 4 serial port(v.35) and in future i want it to be upgraded to 8 ports.it must have a 1 BRI port also. please tell which router to choose.

Hi

Considering your future requirements i would go for a 2600 series which can fit into ur requirements.in 2691 itself i have used 2691 with 8-port Bri and 3 wic - 2T cards on tht ,hope thts higher end for u at present.

would suggest to hve a look out for 2650 just chek up the technical specification on the cisco site too and choose/decide the one which can best fit into ur requirment.

If you want to build a even more scalable system an 3700 series could be a good choise.

a 3725 with an nm-4t has an other nm bay for expansion left as wel as three wic bays and two built in fe's.
