Have been working on other vendor's firewalls for many years. But will find myself supporting an ASA soon. Some issues I'm seeing on getting familiar with this platform are:
1. dCloud doesn't have anything that will run logged in with my cco/certification account credentials.
2. the 5506-x that I have on hand is unusable due to my cco/certification account credentials not able to download software.
3. online services offering labs are insanely expensive.
4. home vmware environment far too small and slow for virl (can't imagine it's cheap either)
Seems like the deck is intentionally stacked against anyone trying to use this product...
Any ideas on a path to learn the ASA platform prior to being issued a working CCO account by the future employer?

Hello,
the Cisco Packet Tracer simulation tool has two ASA models. Check if your CCO account has enough privileges to download the tool...
