AutoQOS in CatOS

Folks,

We have a special need. We have Catalyst 6500 running CatOS. We are planning to deplay IP phones so that they do not have workstation connected behind them but directy connected to another switchport on the Catalyst 6500.

My question is that is there a way in CATOS that it would automatically detect what port is connected to an IP Phone and apply the QOS settings to it ( Trust, Untrust, etc).

What kind of Sup and what software version are you running? Auto QoS is supported in 7.5(1) and later
