C7200 Router bootup

Dear Members,

I am trying to troubleshoot and revive a crashed router over the weekend.

I tried consoling and rebooting the router but nothing appeared on my screen(on a black screen). I suspected it would be an issue with the ROM which must have been corrupted.

The question would be, Is it possible to revive this c7200 VXR and how?

The router has an NPE-G2 blade...

IS the appliance powering up?  Can you see LED display?  

Have you considered that someone may have changed the appliance's baud rate or your console has the wrong console settings?

Yes, appliance is powering up. Yes, I can see LED display.

ok, if the appliance's baud rate was changed, how can i recover that?

I doubt my console settings were wrong because I could console into other routers and switches.

Go to the settings of your console program and change the baud rate. Start from the highest and work your way down to the lowest.
