Catalyst 4506 Lost Configuration

Switch# uptime is 14 hours, 52 minutes

System returned to ROM by abort at PC 0x0

System restarted at 05:32:06 UTC Sat Jul 17 2004

System image file is "bootflash:cat4000-is-mz.121-12c.EW1.bin"

reapplied copy of config file and back up and running. Anybody know what the error is derived from?

Try using output interpreter. You'll have to login. Cut and paste the show version output into the space provided.

Thanks, but the results didn't match anything. I wish I had more from the log, but since the system was reset nothing was captured from the syslog entry

In IOS based crashinfo is written and can be retrieved by issuing a "more crashinfo:data" or "show platform crashdump"

Open a TAC service request with this output along with sh tech and an engineer should be able to see if it was due to a known issue. Also you are running a very old IOS and it is a good idea to upgrade to 12.1(20)EW2 or 12.2(20)EW.
