I installed a wireless network using CISCO AIRONET 1200 APs and presently accessing AP through Internet browser using plain text password. I would like to know if there is any way I could implement TACACS+ authentication to get access to AP.
Thank in advance.

Take a look through the security setup page for the AP1200:

Hi!
Yes, you can configure a TACACS+ or Radius server such as Cisco ACS. On the AP web menu goto Setup. On the Services Windows choose ---> Security --> Authentication server. You have to choose if it is TACACS or Radius. Use the IP address of the Authentication server and a share secret that you configure on the server and on the AP (they have to match). The default port for Cisco ACS is 1645. Take a look at the 1200 security set up on the 1200 software configuration guide.
C ya!
