Hi, I have a question about cisco works.. I have a customer who has a few cisco equipments and a few Avaya Switches.. He also Cisco Works for Network Management.. Can he add the MIB(Downloadable) of the Avaya Switches to the Cisco Works and start managing the Avaya Switches using the Cisco Works??

The quick answer to your question is , No. Cisco Works only manages Cisco devices. For managing non-cisco devices, you can try other 3rd party management applications like What's Up Gold or SNMPc etc.

We have a mixed Avaya / cisco environment and use Cisco for Cisco and Avaya for Avaya - actually the Avaya Management suite is V helpful and allows much easier config if vlans / port set ups and admin.
Its a pity to use two mgment consoles but easier
