i am a new user to CiscoWorks, so excuse my lack of knowledge. I am testing out netconfig with a test device. i created a new job from the template to change the enable secret password, and copy running to start. when i try and click finnish at the last step, i get an error message. Null pointer exception, stack trace error.
My user profile has full permissions, and i launched this in a fresh window having not touched config view. (two suggestions i have found in the readme's).
Any ideas would be very much appreciated!!
Thanks

Has anyone got a solution for this issue? I have the same problem using Netconfig.

Null pointer exception - seems to be JAVA related. What platform is LMS installed on? What Java Version is running?

how do you access LMS? by using the name or the IP address of the server? If you are using the name, try it with the IP address. Before testing this, clear the browsers cache and the JAVA cache, close all browsers windows, start IE again and try it with the IP.
Can you open a map in Campus Manager - Topology services?

I have always accessed LMS by IP address.
I tried clearing the caches, closed all browser windows and re-booted the server.
All appears to be working now. Thanks for your help.
