I find all the commands for configuring the CC 3550 switch as a DHCP server but not working ...can I make it a DHCP server? and when it asks for the server IP is that a VLAN IP or do I need to config an individual port with the server IP on the same VLAN?
2. I want to NAT/PAT with the switch as well ...I find the unsupported commands but I think I have the wrong IOS becasue the commands are not there...what CC 3550 IOS has the NAT commands....I want to take this switch and make it for consultants so that it is not on my network but they can still reach the internet and not go through my FW. I will be using an unused eternet port on my edge/internet router...I dont want to config the router for this purpose because it is my only production router....I am running ver c3550-i9q312-mz.12.1(11)on switch
Thanks

see this link for Feature Navigation, to find what IOS versions support NAT:

for your 3550 to be a dhcp server, it must have an IP address defined on it. it can be either a VLAN ip or interface IP. (be sure whichever it is, there is a route to it from whatever networks need to use dhcp from that device)

NAT/PAT is not supported on 3550, 3560 or 3750 at all. It is not due to IOS, it a hardware limitations therefore there is no plan for NAT support on these platforms.
