Hello!
I have CiscoWorks for Windows 6 installed on W2K SP3. This is a new install of CW6. I can use CW locally on the W2K box, but not remotely. What is strange about it is that when pointing to http://W2Kbox.AnyURL.com:1741, it resolves to http://W2Kbox:1741 both locally and remotely. I realize that this is why I can't view it remotely, but how do I fix that? Remotely, I get the "page cannot be displayed" type errors. There is no problem viewing other web pages on the W2K box remotely...just CW.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I am using port 1741 because port 80 is in use by other applications. It reacts in the same manner whether I use the IP address or the machine name, which is registered on our DNS server. Is there some kind of patch for this? Other applications that I am running on this machine require SP3, so I cannot uninstall it.

There is no patch for this. You can try doing a re-install if that's possible or try installing it on another box to see if that helps.

I've tried to reinstall it a few times. I suppose I'll have to put it on another machine. Do you think that there will be patch released?
Thanks for your help.

Resolved! After putting it on another machine without SP3 and getting the same result, I spent more time looking around at files. I found that the httpd.conf file (

CWW 6.1 is the latest right now. You're using 6.0

This is weird because you do not need to modify the httpd.conf file every time you install CWW, the installer automatically takes care of this. You may need to contact TAC to troubleshoot this further.
