Can anyone help please. I have a 2611 and simply want the router to fail over to the backup DSL link when the primary fails. The problem is the primary is connected to a media converter which then connects to a point to point wireless access point. When the wireless goes down the media converter is still active so the router thinks the link is still alive and doesnt fail over. I have tried object tracking of the routing state will no luck, the only way i can get it to fail over is to physically pull out the RJ45.

Are you referring the object tracking of routing state to the dialer watch?

Or if you use dynamic routing protocol and floating static to maintain the fallover. Once the route disappear, static will appear in routing table then use backup path.
Hope this helps.
