Failed Vlan Configuration in Ciscoworks

Only One of the device gives me below error when updating vlan configuration.

any idea why this specific device is causing trouble.

Failed Vlan Configuration Devices Summary

"Device Name","Attempted At","Failure Reason"

"xxxx-xxx.xx.xxxxx.com","06 Aug 2004 09:21:31 EDT","Failed to initiate ssh session: Cannot create ssh session to xxxxxxxxxxxx.com"

device name changed for security purpose

Its quiet possible that this problem is occuring due to the enable password which may not have been set properly on the RME. When the passwords on RME do not match the ones in the TACACS server, it may throw the above error.

Try to check the attributes of your devices before you try to backup your configurations.

In RME -> Administration -> Inventory -> "Check device attributes" select the devices that are

failing and make sure that all the passwords are correct

Also ensure to click the "Update Status" button to verify that the entries are correct. You can also change the attributes through "Change Device Attributes".
