Hi,
For cat6k-sup1 the latest CatOs is 6.4(12). but check the memory reqirements before trying and also the release notes for some bugs.
For all 3500xl series --- 12.0(5)WC10 (Latest)
Thanks

Thank.
Will this IOS stop the broadcasts??
Where to check the features / Comparisons of the same.

Do you know the nature and source of the broadcasts? I'm not an expert by any means, but I'd want to know that before messing with IOS which has (presumably) worked OK until a few days ago. We had a severe broadcast problem recently which was eventually traced to an improperly configured OEM network-attached printer, whose default gateway was set to 255.255.255.255.

Thanks for your reply.
But in my case it purely Broadcast Problem & not by wrong default gateway or so.

Hi,
IOS upgrade will not resolve high broacast issues, I would suggest you to look for something else in your network like :
1. DHCP requests created by clients.
2. un-necessary ARP broasts.
3. Faultu NIC cards of PCs.
4. Sniff the data and check what broadcats are there and from they are generated.
5. check whether MAC address table erties are clearing out earlier than normal 300 seconds.
