Load balancing over static routes

Is there a way to achieve Load Balancing using static routes over point to point links??

are those pt to pt links are being terminated on same routers at both end?

if yes, u can do it by creating a multilink interface (group) at both ends and configure the two interfaces at each end to be members of the multilink group.

don't give ip address to serial interfaces. give an ip address to multilink interface.

point your static route to IP address of your next hop multilink interface

reply if u need commands to do it.

As long as the statics have equal metrics to the same destination networks, the traffic will be load balanced. By default, on a per-destination basis. You can change it to per-packet if you wish.

Just configuring a static route to the next-hop address on each of the PPP links should be enough to achieve loadbalancing.
