I have been recently contacted by a bank, that wants to control their LAN/WAN network and wants to know what application or what hardware device has problems in their network.
I guess that they need to implement first a system of measuring, and then they will be able to control and take the measures to adjust and fine tune their network.
Does somebody has an advice on what kind of (data) network LAN-WAN measuring/control devices does Cisco recommends for their clients.
I was thinking on Ipswitch Network control software, but don't know if this software has the capability of measuring the bandwith of every network point via SNMP.
Thanks in advance,
Igor Sotelo.

CiscoWorks LMS/RWAN bundle can be looked at for this.
