Hello,
On the url: http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cw2000-cd-one I could find the patch cwvms-common-services-1.0-p1-win.zip. How I know I need the common services with VMS. But what is the reason to put this patch with the cd one patches? Are the common services part of the cd one? If I have installed the LMS bundle, I don't see that this common services is installed (applications and versions).

The patch Readme file would tell the user whether it's required or not.

This was not my question. I know that I need this patch for the vms.
My question is:
What is the reason to put this patch with the cd one patches?

CD One contains the Common Management Foundation which is the core of CW2K management environment. The CWVMS provide the additional capabilities required by VHM and the access methods for the CORBA interfaces and hooks required for VHM.
Cisco made CD One so it was easy to understand what to load first. Keep in mind that CD One provides the foundation which everything is tied to and built on. Change it and you'll have to change the linkages - with VHM being a newer component it makes sense to ensure they are updated along with other CD One / CMF elements.
