Hi,
I have a WAN with leased lines as primary link and VSAT as fallback link.I am running static routes presently. I want to go for dynamic routing protocol(OSPF) , I have cisco routers and VSAT equipment in my WAN.VSAT does not support any dynamic routing protocols. so I have to use static routes.now I want use both static routes (for VSAT) and OSPF with Cisco routers. My question is that packet has to travel on OSPF route wherever leased line up and after that packet has to take VSAT path wherever leased line is down.Is that possible ???
Kindly through some light ...
regards...

Hi Suresh,
yes it's possible. Configure your static router with a additional adminstraive distance (AD):
ip route 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.1.1 200
When now your first route (OSPF) is down, the router will use the second route.
